Secretary

Meg Vostal is a special education faculty member in the College of Education and Human Development at Bowling Green State University. Apart from a short stint in a high school play, she has no theatre experience whatsoever. But, as a former school teacher and counselor, she is happy to bring data collection and grant writing experience to Horizon Youth Theatre’s board. Meg, her husband Brooks, and their son Charlie live in Bowling Green. Charlie has been an actor in HYT shows and written one-acts for the Festival of Shorts, but his favorite theatre job is running the sound board for HYT. Meg is thrilled to be part an organization that prioritizes inclusivity and offers so many opportunities for kids’ participation!

Treasurer/Fundraising Committee Head/Resident Choreographer

Tim has been with HYT for 6 years as the resident choreographer. Always wanting to be more involved in the inner workings of HYT to better the organization and help educate the children, he proudly takes on the mantle of treasurer. With one of two degrees in dance education, Tim also teaches at Julie's Dance Studio. His passion for the arts has no limits and he takes care to pass what he knows down to his students. With the other degree in mathematics, Tim dabbles in financial and educational pursuits. Tim feels he could use both of his degrees to uplift HYT.
