CAST BIOS

Livy Emch is 11 years old and in the 5th Grade at Eastwood Elementary School. Livy has been doing theatre for 2 years and has been in 5 shows, 4 of which have been with HYT! Ivy is most excited to be part of such a beloved story and bring it to life for an audience. She would like to thank Mr. Keith for being so fun to work with, Madi for working so hard to help everyone and for making costumes, and her mom plus Mr. and Mrs. Kutz for all of the days of long drives to Town Hall!

Boudi Grills-McCarty is 11 years old and is a student at Montessori School Bowling Green. She has been in many HYT plays. She likes skating and spanish.

Clarissa Hensley is 11 years old and in the 5th Grade at BG Christian Academy. Clarissa has been doing theatre for 3 years and has been in 5 shows, 4 of which were with HYT! Clarissa is most excited to be in Bees. She would like to thank her parents for taking her to rehearsal and the director.

Harper Kutz is 11 years old and in the 5th Grade at Eastwood Elementary. Harper has been doing theatre for 3 months and has been in one show, which was also with HYT! Harper is most excited to get stuck! She would like to thank her friend Livy.

Keagan Lafferty is 12 years old and in the 7th Grade at Maumee Middle School. Keagan has been doing theatre for 4 years and has been in 8 shows. This is Keagan’s first show with HYT! Keagan is most excited to be Eeyore because Eeyore is the opposite of her personality, so she really gets to act! Keagan would like to thank her dad for losing hours of sleep and waking up early to take her to rehearsal!

Kaidence Martinez is 12 years old and in the 6th Grade at Otsego Junior High. Kaidence has been doing theatre for 2 years and has been in 3 shows, all of which have been with HYT! Kaidence is most excited to be on stage again. She would like to thank everyone who comes out to watch the show and her mom for all of the rides! Kaidence would like everyone to know that if you want to do something you love, do it before it’s too late!

Chloe Mayle is 11 years old and in the 5th Grade at St. Aloysius. Chloe has been doing theatre for 1 year and this is her first major production! She previously participated in HYT’s Festival of Shorts and Summer Camps. Chloe is most excited just to be in the production! She would like to thank her family, friends, director, stage manager, and cast mates! 

Oliver McClure is 10 years old and in the 5th Grade at Eastood. Oliver has been in theatre for 1 year and this is his 3rd show! This is his 2nd show with HYT! Oliver is most excited to have more speaking parts than his last play and to be on stage again. He would like to thank his parents for letting him do this and driving him all of the time!

Carina Motisher is 10 ½ years old and in the 5th Grade at St. Aloysius. Carina has been doing theatre for 3 years and has been in 6 shows, all but one of which were with HYT! Carina is most excited because, as Piglet, she gets to run around the stage in a panic attack, as Milne, she gets to throw a stuffed bear, and as Friends, she gets to collapse! She would like to thank Calista, her sister, for getting her into theatre as well as Keith, Madi, and everyone else who made this show possible. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Evelyn Pollard is 6 years old and in the 1st Grade at Eastwood. This is Evelyn’s first show ever! Evelyn is most excited to perform on a stage. She would like to thank her dad, mom, brother Jacob, and teacher Mrs. Walters.

Veronica Prishchepova is 11 years old and in the 5th Grade at Eastwood Elementary. Veronica has been in two previous shows and this is her first show with HYT! Veronica is most excited to be in a play. She would like to thank the director. Finally, Veronica would like to say thank you for having her in the show!

Devin Rogel is 11 years old and in the 6th Grade at Toledo School for the Arts. Devin has been doing shows for 9 years and has been in 9 shows. This marks show number 6 ½ with HYT. Devin is most excited for his monologue in this show! He would like to thank his mom for convincing him to audition and Keith for giving him the loudest line in the show. Devin would also like you to know that he is in Junior Quiz Bowl!

Ivy Shawver is 9 years old and in the 4th Grade at Sleek Academy. Ivy has been doing theatre for 3 years and has been in 6 shows. This is her first show with HYT! Ivy is most excited to have a balloon in this show! Ivy would like to thank her mom and dad, Miss Lin for telling her about Horizon, and all of her former directors. She would like you to know that she just moved from California and this is her first show in Ohio!

Bradey Smeltzer is 9 years old and in the 3rd Grade at Montessori School of Bowling Green. Bradey has been doing theatre for 3 years and has been in 3 shows, all of which have been with HYT! Bradey is most excited to play a character that is so different from his usual self. He would like to thank Mr. Keith for being a great teacher and leader in all of his HYT experiences! He would also like to thank his parents for always encouraging and supporting him.

Delilah Smith is 11 years old and in the 5th Grade at Eastwood Elementary. This is Delilah’s first year doing theatre and her second show, both of which have been with HYT! Delilah is most excited to explore this role and see what she can do with the character. She would like to thank her family and all of the people who pushed her to be who she is right now. She also wants to thank her friends for getting her into theatre. Finally, Delilah would like you to know that she watched a lot of “Winnie the Pooh” to be the best Pooh ever!

Gavin Snyder is 10 years old and in the 5th Grade at Montessori School of Bowling Green. Gavin has been doing theatre for 2 years and this is his 5th show, all of which have been done with HYT and CTW. Gavin is most excited to make new friends and have a good time! He would like to thank his family and friends. Gavin would also like you to know that he likes ice cream.

Ruby St. Louis is 11 years old and in the 6th Grade at Eastwood Middle School. Ruby has been doing theatre for 5 years and has been in 10 shows. This is her 9th show with HYT! Ruby is most excited to do another fun role with her friends and meeting new people. She would like to thank her friends for all the support they give her.

Zoe Torres is 11 years old and in the 5th Grade at BG Christian Academy. Zoe has been doing theatre for 3 years and has been in 6 shows. This is her 5th show with HYT! Zoe is most excited to prove she can do bigger roles. She would like to thank her parents for encouraging her to try out.

Kizzey Wilson is 11 years old and in the 5th Grade at Eastwood. Kizzey has been doing theatre for 3 years and has been in 3 shows, two of which have been with HYT! Kizzey is most excited to express herself! She would like to thank Alice Walters for making acting a different experience for her!

Aurora Zientek is very excited to be participating in her fifth HYT production. She was so happy for to be cast as Christopher Robin in the show. Last Summer, she played an Elf in “Shrek” with Oregon Community Theatre (a good haircut can get you some fun roles). She attends Eastwood Elementary School. When she's not acting her heart out, she enjoys playing piano. She would like to thank everyone who helped make this show happen.
